Terms of Service

Last updated: June 20, 2026

These terms govern your use of Curb. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. We've tried to write them in plain language — if anything is unclear, reach out and we'll explain it properly.

1. Your account

To use Curb, you need to create an account with a valid email address. You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity that happens under your account. If you believe your account has been accessed without authorization, contact us immediately.

You must be at least 13 years old to create a Curb account. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have permission from a parent or guardian to use the app and, where relevant, to enter into any purchase.

2. Pricing and payment

Curb is offered under the following pricing structure, current as of the date at the top of this page:

Solo unlock$39 one-time
Shared workspace (per workspace, paid by creator)$9.99/month

The solo unlock is a one-time purchase that grants permanent access to Curb's core features on the account that purchases it. It is not a subscription and does not renew or charge again.

The shared workspace is a recurring monthly subscription, billed to the person who creates the workspace. Other workspace members do not pay the workspace fee individually — they only need their own $39 solo unlock to use the app. The workspace creator can cancel the subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period.

Purchases are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full payment card details. All charges are in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.

Because Curb's purchase happens outside the App Store (via our website), standard Apple App Store refund policies do not apply. To request a refund, contact us within 14 days of purchase and we will review the request.

3. Free trial

New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with full access to Curb's features, no payment method required to begin. At the end of the trial period, continued use requires completing the $39 one-time purchase on our website. Your data is not deleted when a trial expires — you can purchase at any time to regain access to the same account and data.

4. Shared workspaces

Workspace owners can invite other Curb users to collaborate using an invite code and assign them a role (Owner, Admin, or Crew) that determines what they can see and do within the workspace. The workspace owner is responsible for managing membership and roles appropriately.

If a workspace subscription lapses (due to cancellation or failed payment), each member's data as of that point is copied to their individual device and the workspace reverts to inactive. We retain the shared copy on our servers for 30 days in case of resubscription, after which it is permanently deleted.

5. Your data and content

You retain ownership of all data you enter into Curb — your business information, job records, and any information about your own clients. We do not claim ownership over your content. You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for complying with any obligations you have regarding your own customers' data.

You can export or permanently delete your data at any time directly within the app (Settings → Privacy & Data).

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

7. Third-party services

Curb integrates with third-party services including Stripe (payments), Supabase (data storage), Open-Meteo (weather), and Apple's native iOS frameworks (maps, messaging, notifications). Your use of features that rely on these services is also subject to those providers' own terms. We aren't responsible for outages or issues originating from third-party services outside our control.

8. App availability

We aim to keep Curb available and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. The app may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or due to factors outside our control. For solo users, your data is stored locally on your device and remains accessible even if our servers are temporarily unreachable, with the exception of account verification and workspace sync features.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

Curb is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the app's fitness for a particular purpose, reliability, or that it will be error-free. Weather forecasts, route estimates, and other data shown in the app are provided for convenience and may not always be accurate — use your own judgment when making business decisions.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Curb and its developers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption. Our total liability for any claim related to Curb is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

You can stop using Curb and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, including fraudulent purchases, abuse of the platform, or attempts to circumvent rate limiting or security measures. If we terminate your account for cause, you are not entitled to a refund of prior purchases.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you through the app or via email before they take effect. Continuing to use Curb after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles, unless otherwise required by the laws of your jurisdiction.
